Wrapping Your Head Around The Sampler and DFD Source Modes
The Source Module is located at the very beginning of KONTAKT’s signal flow and acts as the source of all audio signals. It provides access to the underlying sample playback engine and can’t be removed from an Instrument. It operates in one of nine playback modes, all of which are optimized for handling different audio material. Today we’ll look at two of the most common modes, Sampler and DFD source modes.
